Milly recently spent the night with one of her volunteer friends. Milly was a perfect houseguest sleeping through the night, having great manners and an overall lovebug.
Milly is a fun, playful pup with lots of personality! She enjoys playtime and has a silly, energetic side that really shines once she's feeling comfortable. She's also done great in dog playgroups and enjoys socializing with other dogs (she is a vocal high-energy player so she would need a 4-legged friend who appreciates that play style).
Milly can be a bit unsure around new people and has some "stranger danger," so she'll do best with adopters who understand that first impressions aren't always her thing. With patience, structure, and positive-reinforcement training, Milly has great potential to build confidence and learn that the world isn't so scary.
She's looking for dog-savvy humans who are willing to invest in training and give her the guidance she needs to succeed. In return, Milly will reward you with playfulness, loyalty, and plenty of happy moments as she grows more confident by your side.
If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 11-5pm.
