Mellow is a 3-year-old boy who is ready to find his next adventure with the right family. He is microchipped and neutered, and now just waiting for a place to call home. Mellow has done OK in foster care, showing progress with his house skills and leash walking.
He is a sensitive dog, and some of his behaviors suggest he can be fearful in new or overwhelming situations. Because of this, Mellow would do best in a quiet home with a medium activity level where he can feel safe and settle in at his own pace. He requires a home without other dogs or small animals so he can truly relax and bond with his people.
Mellow would do best with no children, as younger kids may be a bit too much for him right now. With patience and understanding, Mellow has the potential to become a loyal and deeply rewarding companion.
