Meet Chi Chi!
Life hasn't been easy for Chi Chi. She was rescued by our Animal Law Enforcement team from a cruel situation and it's clear her past has left its mark. Chi Chi may never be the typical "lap cat" everyone dreams of (she's more reserved and prefers her space),but that doesn't make her any less deserving of love.
Chi Chi is also FIV+, which might sound intimidating at first, but it's not as scary as it seems. FIV can't be passed to people or dogs and is typically spread only through deep bite wounds. Friendly cats who live peacefully together can safely coexist, regardless of FIV status. With good care, FIV+ cats like Chi Chi can live long, happy, and healthy lives.
Chi Chi may have faced some tough breaks, but we know there's someone out there with the patience, compassion, and love to give her the second chance she deserves.
