Bella was rescued (along with another dog who has already been adopted) by our Animal Law Enforcement team. She may have had a rough beginning, but we are determined to give her a great middle while she waits for her beautiful ending (a wonderful forever home!)
Bella likes other dogs and is usually play bowing to ones she sees while she is running around in our fenced in play yards. She has a funny personality, a little goofy even once she trusts you, where she will play bow to you and then take off running or even jump up to "tag" you. This has all taken time, patience and lots of love to get her to this point.
Bella has some touch sensitivity, especially around her head/neck area. But she allows some of her closest friends to pet her and snuggle her, so it just takes some time and alot of trust on her part!
She walks well on leash and appears to understand the concept of housetraining - she goes every time we take her out! She is so deserving of a safe, loving forever home - one with adults or older kids (12+) who can understand and respect her handling sensitivities and give her time to adjust, trust and open up! She will be a great loving companion for the right person/family
