Toby came into rescue from a puppy mill. He was very shut down, making himself into a pancake when approached. We got him into a wonderful foster home with a volunteer who has been nurturing him in a calm environment. Toby is slowly opening up but in baby steps. Although he is still too nervous to walk on a leash, he is house trained, and crate trained. Toby is nervous around strangers and would need a quiet home with no children or other dogs. He needs someone with patience that is willing to work with him to continue to get him out of his shell. Toby loves to sleep with his head on his stuffed toys and sit on your lap quietly.
