Rukia is a truly perfect friend for you and your family AND she's housebroken! This pit/terrier mix weighs about 80 pounds but could stand to lose some weight (so many of us can relate!) We currently have her on limited treats and stricter portions and she is slowly starting to lose a bit!
But she's so much more than her weight - here is what she has to say to her potential adopter:
"Hi there!! My name is Rukia! I may have just met you, but I already love you! My volunteer friends say I love to hang out, get lots of pets and go for short walks with you, I definitely don't feel the need to get 10,000 steps a day. I love to play! Tugs or fetch are both great! I will chew on my bone for a minute and take a nap, preferably on something soft like the couch or a pillow in my crate. When you do take me for walks, I like to smell everything, so it is sometimes more of a leisurely stroll but when I'm done walking, I will let you know and just turn around so we can go back home. I am great about not chasing squirrels when we walk, even though I really want to.
I try to get along with all creatures and have a great laid-back temperament but have been known to chase a barn cat here if it runs away from me, or tell a dog off if it is barking at me. But generally, I am just laid back and don't let things bother me!"
