Meet Toasty!
This young cattle dog mix is looking for a family that can be understanding of his rough start, and provide consistency and training to help him build confidence. Toast is timid and has missed key puppy skills and socialization along they way. He is also a high drive, working breed, and requires a lot of exercise. The right home for Toast would include a fenced yard and previous experience with the Cattle Dog breed.
Toast enjoys playing with toys, working on training(he's food motivated), and cuddling. He has shown to be a little too nippy for young children, so we are recommending ages 13+ for this guy. He has done well with cats in his foster home but is showing reactivity towards dogs. He may be able to have dogs friends but would prefer to be the only dog in the home at this time.
