JJ has had a rough beginning to his life, living in a home where he was not treated kindly and was found several times as a stray wandering the streets alone. Understandably, JJ is nervous around new people and sudden movements. He takes a bit of time to warm up to new people, but once he knows you, he does bond with a level of trust. He will need a patient quiet home, with adults and no other pets (at first at least) so he has time to come out of his shell at his own pace. It is quite rewarding to earn the trust of a dog who doesn't give it freely, and JJ deserves the bit of extra effort.
