Congratulations to both Dakota and The Ellis Family! Pug Rescue of Northern California is thrilled to see Dakota has found his new forever-loving home. We wish you all many many happy years together!! Thank you again for choosing and adopting from your most friendly Pug Rescue of Northern California, the number 1 preferred pug rescue in the region, rescuing pugs and pug mixes for over 25 years! ------ Meet Dakota, he is a medium-energy, happy-go-lucky puppy. He is social and has good manners for a puppy, getting along with all the dogs in his foster home. He has a gentle play style and after a good romp is happy to lay down and take a nap. He is great on a leash and happy to walk long distances. He loves being held and is the happiest when he is right next to his person. The moment he is touched he transforms from a wiggly, bouncy puppy to calm and serene. He is so attached to people that he has a hard time being on his own but he is learning to stand on his own four paws. He would probably do very well in many environments, in an active household, around children, and with other animals. As with any puppy, he will need ongoing training, lots of exercise, and someone to show him the ropes. He is very close to being potty trained and working on crate training. He is also very vocal, with lots to say to you and tell you how happy he is to be with you.
