Klaus is an adorable brindle chihuahua mix who was born in September 2014. He weighs about 7-8 lbs. Klaus ended up at the shelter after his family was evicted and they left him behind in their home. He was adopted out twice from the shelter and returned for being snappy before he came to our rescue. In his foster home, Klaus is a happy and lively little guy. He is good with the other dogs in his foster home, both big and small. He loves to play! Klaus is not great with cats - he likes to chase them. Klaus takes quite a while to warm up to new people and will be snappy if pushed. He strongly prefers women to men. The best home for him would be one that is fairly quiet, with no small children, and maybe with another friendly dog he can play with. Klaus is housebroken, but he does mark in the house when he is stressed, and he is crate trained. Klaus has the potential to be a very loving and loyal companion for the right person.
