Hello, world! My name is Cuckoo, and I'm a pretty female cat with beautiful chocolate and black fur! I'm here at the shelter just waiting for the purr-fect human to come along and adopt me! All of my babies (four in total) are here with me--and we are all named after birds (Sparrow, Starling, and Magpie)! So what's my story? Well, I was found in a neighborhood and it seemed that no one was caring for me, so I was brought to the shelter. Shortly after, I gave birth to my beautiful kittens. The shelter is no place for babies to be born, but we're making the best of it and now my babies are big enough for adoption. I must admit, I'm scared being here and need someone with patience and understanding to give me a chance to blossom in my new home. I would love to be adopted with one of my kittens so that I will always have a furry friend and companion. I must be an indoor-only cat to keep me safe from the many outside dangers that could hurt me. Lots of toys, a friend to play with, and a comfy bed would be enough to keep me happy and content.
