***AT SHELTER***

Absolutely smitten with Hazel!

Looking dapper in her tuxedo, beautiful Hazel, along with her furry friends, was rescued from the streets of Hamilton by a group of compassionate cat rescuers. In 2019, Hazel and her sister Macy found their forever home, but due to unforeseen circumstances and life changes, their adopters had to return them to the shelter. Hazel, patiently awaits the day when a special someone will come and take her to a loving home where she can spend the rest of her days happily.

Hazel is a sweet and friendly cat with a curious nature that will capture your heart. She may come off as a bit shy at first, but once you start petting her with a back-scratcher, she transforms into her affectionate self. She adores being pampered with pets, and you'll notice her relaxation turning into demands for attention when you stop. Hazel isn't afraid to let you know when she is enjoying herself - just watch out for her frequent drooling, a sure sign of her contentment. Hazel adored her previous owners and loved to cuddle next to them on the bed. She shows no fear of small children and is even open to allowing them to pet her. She is also a quiet girl who startles easily at loud noises or too much commotion.

We are still uncertain how well Hazel will do in a household of other pets; however, she will require a patient adopter who can help her build more trust and confidence. And who knows, maybe Hazel would enjoy the company of another friendly feline like her sister, Macy?

It's no secret that nuts are good for the heart, so why not come meet Hazel? You'd be nuts to miss out on the opportunity to welcome this lovely feline into your home!

Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption.
