Safe Haven took Romeo (born around May of 2013) in when he was abandoned, and he has lived with us ever since. The veterinarian told Safe Haven he must have had distemper as a puppy, due to the state of his teeth. Romeo quickly earned his name because of how much he loves to give people hugs. Romeo is very friendly and playful with familiar people, but he can be timid when strangers enter his space. He is also friendly with other dogs but can become overwhelmed when being introduced to high-energy dogs. He can't wait to find a home where he can get limitless butt rubs and head massages furever.
