Elvis is a very special dog. We all love him so much. He has been at PCF for a long time waiting for his perfect family. He was surrendered because his owners were moving. They felt terrible, but he had to be crated for long hours and they didn't feel it was fair. He walks beautifully on a leash, is a complete gentleman when taking treats, and is just a wonderful dog to be around. He has a soft, short, silky auburn and white coat. Elvis is shy with strangers, but when he gets to know you, he is a great buddy. He is an active dog who loves walking, hiking, and hanging out in the water. He knows his commands including "sit", "down", and "shake". More than anything, he loves to lounge in the grass. When he is lounging, he is super chill and just watches the trees and the birds. He would be a total couch potato in a home!
He is okay with some dogs and regularly goes on group walks with his PCF dog pals Bo and Litia. Generally we believe he would do better as the only dog in the house. Elvis may not be good with cats. Since he has never lived with small children, he would do best in an adult only home. Just ask to take a walk with one of our dog volunteers and get to know him and you will see what a great dog he is!
