Meet Maney!
I'm a sweet and loving 1-year-8-month-old boy with a heart full of affection. I'm basically a purr machine-if you're petting me, you'll hear it loud and clear because I just can't stop purring! I'm super social and love being around people. I've lived with all ages of people before, and I get along with other cats, so I'm pretty adaptable and could do well in most homes.
I'm playful and enjoy wands, spring toys, crinkle balls, and catnip. I also like to chase and bat around small toys. When I'm playing, I sometimes get a little mouthy and might nibble (don't worry, it's gentle), but with proper play and enrichment, it's easy to manage-I just get so excited about all the attention!
I'm currently on a Hypoallergenic Diet to help with potential allergies and my dental health. I also had a recent skin flare-up that healed well with treatment. This is just an FYI in case it ever happens again. When I first arrived, I had a bit of chin acne, so keeping me on a clean routine with ceramic or steel dishes, washed regularly, will help keep me looking and feeling my best. I also have mild dental disease, so monitoring for any signs of discomfort or changes in eating habits is recommended.
I'm litter-trained and use a covered box with clumping litter. I'm comfortable being picked up and handled gently. I've also been around dogs and other cats and did well with both, so I could fit into a multi-pet household with proper introductions.
