***IN FOSTER***

"No more Living in the Wild Wild West" Wyatt.

Wyatt the cat, along with a few feline outlaws we've nicknamed the Wild Wild West cats, recently travelled east from the Steel City to EHS. Having ditched the great outdoors, Wyatt is ready to settle down to a life of law and order, leaving his lawless days in the dust.

Currently in a loving foster home, Wyatt is described as very sweet and extremely friendly. This handsome ginger boy can be a bit temperamental when pet in a way he doesn't like and will swat while leaving and walking away. Could this be a flashback to his time at the O.K. Corral? As the days go by, and memories of his past life fade, he is meowing as a more suitable means of communication. This boy certainly has quite the story to tell! Wyatt craves human company and follows his foster parents wherever they go. Every night he sleeps with them and after any meal he comes to show his love before nodding off to sleep. He will definitely make a wonderful companion!

Wyatt has FIV, which is a virus that weakens the immune system of a cat. It is not transmittable to humans or other species. Cats who have FIV can live just as long as other cats if they are properly cared for, with a good diet, indoor home, loving family, and vet checkups twice a year. Wyatt does not require medication. It remains to be seen if our reformed outlaw would appreciate a compatible patriot, so it is best that he journey forward solo, at least for the time being,

In the film Tombstone, Wyatt Earp said, "... I promise I'll love you the rest of your life." Could you be the one to promise Wyatt the cat the same thing? Submit an adoption application to set up a meet and greet. Your future family member might just be an email away.
--------------------
The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200...or, double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Kittens are not spayed or neutered until 5 months of age, but the cost of spay/neuter will be covered as part of the adoption.
