***IN FOSTER***

Raven is raring to go!

You'd never know it, but this stunning black beauty was living rough on the streets. Details of her past are a bit sketchy, but we know she's already a mom to two kittens who have been adopted. As she settles into safe, warm digs with a foster family, Raven is putting the past behind her and gearing up to hunt for a permanent home.

Raven is settling into her new situation on her own terms. She's confident enough to play with her foster mom, chasing a variety of toys, including mice, balls, and her favourite feather wand. She's also gentle enough to play safely with your fingers and toes. While still timid around people, Raven really enjoys pets to her head, cheeks, and neck if approached slowly. But most of the time she's a laid-back girl who is content to watch the world from a high perch like a cat tree or a tabletop.

The ideal adopter will have the patience to build Raven's confidence and trust, as well as the time to encourage her playful nature to shine through. She shares her foster home with other cats but tends to ignore them. We can't say at this point if she will accept dogs or fare well with small children. We are certain, however, that Raven has a lot of love to give and joy to bring to a forever family.

If a raven-haired beauty is the cat of your dreams, keep your eye on this sweet girl and consider applying today!

The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200... Or double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Kittens are not spayed or neutered until 5 months of age, but the cost of spay/neuter will be covered as part of the adoption.
