Meet Teddy, a charming and handsome 3-year-old boy, who is sweet, gentle, and friendly - making him an ideal companion. Teddy is a guy who loves playing with toys, chasing after balls and running around and wrestling with other cats. After he's finished playing, he won't mind at all if you toss a few treats his way. He absolutely LOVES tube treats. Gazing out of windows, perching on cat trees, and napping in cozy spots are some of his other favourite things to do. At bedtime, he will often lay with you until you fall asleep. Teddy enjoys hanging out with his human and cat companions, and he likes to follow you around the house, checking out what's happening. You'll often find Teddy lounging nearby, sometimes chatting at you with his soft trills and meows to let you know how happy he is. When you arrive home, Teddy will come running to the door to greet you with head bonks and body rubs. Teddy thrives on playtime, physical affection, and soothing words. He loves pets, scritches, kisses and belly rubs, and he will raise his face to yours for an air kiss. Teddy's initial cautiousness won't last long and you can help to put him at ease with play, tube treats and affection. In foster, his trust has blossomed, and he has become more confident, independent and at ease, though he still startles at loud noises. Teddy gets along great with other cats and he would do well in a home with another young & friendly buddy cat and older children who will respect his boundaries. Dogs are unknown.
Teddy came to us as an owner surrender, where he did not have an ideal home environment. All he wants and deserves now is a secure and affectionate forever home at last.
Teddy, also affectionately known as Teddy Bear or Prince Teddy by his foster mom, will make the perfect companion in a home that will give him a bit of time to adjust, knowing they will be showered with affection sooner rather than later.
