If you're looking for a cat who's equal parts best friend, cuddle bug, and tiny shadow, Sia is your girl. At just two years old, Sia is an absolute sweetheart. She's incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her people. Whether she's curled up beside you, sleeping under the covers, tucked behind you on your office chair while you work, or pressed right against you all night like a little kid, she wants to be where you are. She's a total lap cat and happiest when she's getting all the love and attention she can. Sia is also very chatty! She'll happily carry on conversations with you, always has something to say, and almost always talks back when you speak to her. She's not shy in the slightest and has no problem making sure you know when she wants attention. Instead of waiting for you to come to her, she'll walk right up and gently bump her face against yours, asking for pets. She's obsessed with belly rubs and starts kneading the second you touch her tummy. She'll tolerate being picked up for a quick cuddle, but she'd much rather be curled up in your lap or snuggled up beside you. When it's playtime, Sia gives it her all. Wand toys and laser pointers are her absolute favourites, and she'll chase them until she's completely out of breath... then somehow find the energy to keep going. If she spots her own tail moving in a shadow, she'll even try to catch it like it's some mysterious intruder. Mealtime is another one of Sia's favourite events. She'll meow at you as if she's been waiting forever to eat, and the second she knows food is coming, she does the cutest little bunny-hop run to her bowl that never gets old. We aren't sure how Sia is with other pets, but because Sia thrives on companionship and is very attached to her person, she'd do best in a home where someone is around most of the time to keep her company, play with her, and give her all the cuddles she loves.
Sia was surrendered to us when her owners could not afford her medical care after she fell from a balcony. Fortunately, she was not seriously injured and just needed some TLC to recover before heading to her forever home at last.
If you're looking for a loving, playful, talkative little shadow or an amazing work-from-home buddy, Sia is your girl!
As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
