This handsome face belongs to Maceo! Maceo is a one-year-old boy who is as friendly as he is adorable. He's a playful guy who loves toys of all kinds - springs, balls, wand toys, you name it! But what does he like more than playing? Food, of course! Maceo comes running at mealtime and isn't fussy about what's on the menu. Add a few treats for dessert, and he's a happy boy! When he's not playing or eating, you'll often find Maceo lounging in the cat tree, especially if he has a good view of the world outside or some dangly toys to bat at. He's not too fussy about where he naps, though - the back of the couch or a cozy corner will do just fine. Maceo also has a quirky little habit: he loves licking bare toes! Don't expect much privacy with Maceo in the house - he loves to follow his people everywhere! He may be a bit shy at first, but he warms up quickly. Once he's comfortable with you, he'll come and lie beside you and soak up some head rubs. He prefers it when you use the back of your hand and not your fingers, and will let you know when he's had enough with a gentle love bite. Because of this, he will do best in a home without young children and experienced owners who can read his cues to know when he's over being pet. Maceo is good with other cats and dogs and would love to have another friendly cat buddy in his new home.
Maceo came to us as an owner surrender. He had been living with someone since he was a kitten, but sadly, they could no longer care for him, so he came to stay with us while we find his forever home at last.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority.
