Meet Ursa & Lynx - a dynamic mother-son duo! Very close in age, Ursa and Lynx are a playful, affectionate, and inseparable pair. Ursa is a super-friendly girl who loves being near her people. Gentle and laid-back, Ursa is also a curious explorer - she loves squeezing into tiny places and will squeeze her way into closed bags, small openings, and under furniture in search of adventure. She especially loves high-up spaces - cat trees, the top of the fridge, even the top of a door frame! If there's a high or narrow spot to conquer, Ursa will find it. Ursa may not stay in your arms for long for cuddles, but she'll happily squirm all around you for more pets! She's also a social butterfly who's quick to greet visitors at the door. Lynx is very gentle and sweet and loves to follow his foster mom around to know what she's up to, but is also independent. He is all about the tummy rubs - he loves them more than any other kind of pet! The moment you touch him, he flops onto his back and rolls over, asking for belly rubs instead. Like his mom, Lynx is an excellent jumper and enjoys curling up in cozy, tucked-away places, like the cat tunnel or behind the couch for his nap time. Ursa and Lynx love to cuddle together, especially high up in the cat tree or perched by the window watching birds and squirrels. They're both super playful and enjoy wand toys, balls, stuffed animals, and especially the laser pointer, which Lynx will jump up the wall to catch. Ursa has a special fondness for soft toy mice, which she loves to bat around and carry around proudly. They use their cardboard scratchers well and go absolutely wild for catnip and Churu treats! Ursa & Lynx are good with other cats. They have lived with a dog in their foster home and may be ok with a calm, friendly dog, but they are also just fine as the only cats in your home. Ursa & Lynx are bonded and MUST be adopted together.
Ursa & Lynx came to us as owner surrenders. Since arriving in foster care, Ursa adjusted quickly to the new environment and was comfortable exploring her surroundings within days. Lynx, initially a bit shy, quickly followed his mother's lead and is now very affectionate with both humans and other animals in the home.
