Hello, do you like chicken nuggets? My name is Nugget because I am the same golden color of as a chicken nugget! I am a 1.5 year old, male, 13 pound chihuahua mix. I am a sweet and affectionate guy who REALLY likes squeaky toys and sitting on laps. I can take a while to warm up to new people, but I'm super loyal once I know you! I can get startled pretty easily and need a patient home that will give me plenty of time to come out of my shell. I would do best in a home without kids, cats, or other dogs. Please take a chance on me!
Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance
SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.
ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
