Hi, my name is Cali! My life has been very bittersweet recently. Just after celebrating my 13th birthday this year, my mom was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and had to go into hospice. She took the best care of me and loved me dearly, and I know it was very hard for her to have to give me up. My world changed quickly, and I am still learning to adjust to my new life and surroundings. If you are looking for a lapcat and a devout, affectionate and loyal companion, that will always be by your side, I am your girl. Ideally, I would prefer to be the only cat in the household, but I will tolerate submissive personalities. I am used to being spoiled and loved on, and I make sure that no one forgets that. I would be the perfect companion for an older person, that is a homebody. Lounging around the house being lazy and rolling over for belly rubs comprise of most of my daily activities.
