Little Jeffery is up for adoption through One Love Animal Rescue. Jeff is a sweet boy who really wants love. Jeff was a number in a hoarding case of over 200 dogs in Bullock county about 5 weeks ago. He was scared of life from day one but has really come out of his shell. He loves to play with all of his toys. Jeff is fully potty trained, neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He loves his foster mom (me!) and shows so much appreciation for loving him. Jeff has bad skin damage from being neglected and likely left outside so he likely will never grow all of his hair back. I think what he has now is what he will have the rest of his life but good news for people who are allergic to dogs, here is your hypoallergenic dog!! He looks so cute in clothes. Jeff is great with kids from toddlers to preteens. He was babysat by a friend with a small children 2 and 4 and he did wonderful. Jeff is still scared of men so please just be patient and he will come around. I recommend the man in the home giving him his food and treats from the start so he can learn to trust. I am thinking he may have been treated cruelly by a man in the past and he needs to learn that he will be treated well by others. Jeff has zero aggression toward anyone so no worries around small children, the elderly, or anyone he just needs time to bond. Being one of 200 for most of his life he LOVES OTHER DOGS and if he lives without one he will be fine but I recommend a good dog friend to hang out with often. I'd estimate Jeff to be about 2 years old. He is a kind soul that just wants a home to call his own.
