My newest foster joined us last night. Meet Estey, a very timid German Shepard. She's 5 years old, 60 pounds and very sweet. She walks well on a leash and stays close to me when out side. Inside, she stays mostly in her kennel with the door open. She's a little underweight. It will be awhile before she will be able to attend adoption events. As she gets comfortable in her new environment, I will be testing her with my resident dogs. She's frightened of my overly friendly cats but shows no aggression towards them. She will need a secure fenced in yard as she might run. A home with no small children might be best for her too. I will post more about her as she comes out of her shell.
