Hey there, I'm Bonnie! I am a 4 year old, 24 pound, female schnauzer mix. I just had a litter of puppies but I am back from foster and looking for my forever home! My foster says I love to "purr" when I get head scratches. I will give you kisses in exchange for head scratches. I love cuddles and outside time. I have big puppy dog eyes and will give you a stare down until you cuddle with me. I get along with other dogs but can be a bit grumpy at the food bowl. Come to the shelter to snuggle with me!
Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet. ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $250 for puppies under 6 months of age and $200 for dogs older than 6 months. $150 for kittens under 6 months of age and $125 for cats older than 6 months
