Hey there! I'm Mercury, an out of this world gal! I am a 2 year old, calico and tabby girl! I am snuggly, affectionate, and playful. I'm not a big fan of being held but I love curling up and spooning with people. I absolutely love belly rubs and will be your best friend if you rub my belly! I love other cats and would make a great playmate! I am gentle and sweet. I would do best in a laidback household full of couch potatoes. I really dislike dogs and require a house with no dogs. Do I sound like the cat for you?
Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. For information regarding the adoption process please visit our website or read the information below THANK YOU. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet. ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $250 for puppies under 6 months of age and $200 for dogs older than 6 months. $150 for kittens under 6 months of age and $125 for cats older than 6 months.
