Meet Richard-
Your perfect work from home buddy! He's a small and shaggy terrier/possibly Shitzu/cur-lied tailed mix. This guy is estimated at 5 years old, recently neutered, up to date on shots. He is 18 pounds of cuteness! Just look at his smile! This guy was terrified at the shelter and took a few days to warm up at foster home. Now, he's a total snuggle bug! He LOvES my mother-in-law! So we think he must have come from an elderly family prior to ending up at the shelter. He's potty trained with regular outings. He loves the morning walk! He's a slow intro to dogs and is co-existing ok w my 3 resident pups. He likes my smaller dogs better. He didn't like the crate and has been ok left out while I'm at work. Every morning he gets the zoomies and runs around and around the yard- he's fast and has the cutest hops! I'd say no to kids at this point because he's jumpy to loud and sudden movements. He's also a bit guarding of his toys and food so these activities need active consideration and correction when feeding and taking toys away. He'll show those teeth to let you know he's scared or wants his toy, but calms down when redirected or told "no." He's straight on his back for a belly run with a stern "no." He'd do well with an adopter that understands he may not be his best self at the meet and greet. However, after only a few days at foster home, he's turned into my shadow- so he'll appreciate getting to a home and finding some love! He really the cutest boy!!
