Earl Smooter is an energetic hound mix. He is potty trained and does excellent in his crate.
Earl loves to run, wrestle and play, especially with dog friends. He can be very in your face with other dogs while playing, think face licking and toy stealing, but he takes correction and respects other dogs boundaries.
Earl is a typical hound and is interested in small animals (squirrels) and what's on the other side of the fence. He does fine with the 6' privacy fence at his foster home but foster mom is worried he might be able to escape a 4' fence.
Earl will need someone to be patient with him the first couple of weeks after adoption. While settling into the routine of his new foster home he had a few accidents while learning the ropes. He was also a little picky with his food. He now gets water added to his try food and prefers it with a spoonful of something special mixed in-pumpkin, yogurt, wet food or food toppers.
Mostly Earl is a good boy who can't wait to find his forever family!
