Special Adopter Needed -
Misty has had a rough life! She came to SAAP because of a leg injury. Misty was found hit by a car in a parking lot and suffered a broken back leg. Our SAAP vets were great getting her fixed right up and even though she walks with a bit of a limp, her leg does not seem to bother her anymore. Misty needs a special adopter who will give her the space she needs to warm up. Misty would do best in a home with no children and no dogs. She does very well with my resident cat and has enjoyed having other foster kittens around her. They really helped her come out of her shell. Misty can be a bit skittish when she is first getting to know you and sometimes that comes out with her hissing, but she is just scared. Misty has really opened up within our home and loves to be around her people. She enjoys hanging out with you on the couch or in bed just enjoying your company. She loves sitting by an open window and hearing all the sounds from outside. She also loves coming up to you for many pets on the head and loves to cuddle! Misty has been the best girl and her adopter needs to know that once she gets comfortable she will stick to you like glue!
