Wrinkles, floppy ears, soulful eyes and a chubby physique - meet Julep, our newest Misfit. Julep is a 10 week old purebred Labrador Retriever pup. In many ways she is a typical pup. Loves to explore, has boundless energy and is ready to discover the world. However, she also has some serious medical issues. Julep was born with a deformed urethra and cannot hold her urine at all. She continuously leaks which causes risks for internal infections as well as urine burn on her hind end. She'll need a trip to the Atlantic Veterinary College to get a full diagnosis and surgery. So while we wait for her appointment on the island she is getting the full foster treatment. Complete with pampering, playing and lots of soothing baths. Watch our Facebook page for updates on Julep.
