Willow came into our shelter in June with her kittens and was very scared. Being a stray momma coming into this strange environment made her defensive of herself and her babies. Now that all of her kittens have been adopted out and have found their homes she has slowly come around to getting attention from us.
Willow is great with other cats but has taken a liking to Honey and are now best friends. When they were in different kennels together Willow would jump down to visit Honey, they loved to groom and cuddle with each other. Because of Willow showing Honey we are safe she has been making baby steps with coming out to us. We would love it if Willow and Honey could find their forever home together. We have recently put both Willow and Honey in our community cat room and they are getting along great with all the other cats and tolerating the exposure to us humans.
