Luisa is a sweet girl who was sadly abandoned by her family last Winter. Luckily, a neighbor was able to care for her and her cat family after they were left outside to fend for themselves. In December, she had a litter of kittens and the neighbor reached out for help as they were unable to bring them all indoors to safety. The cats joined our program and have been looking for their true forever families. Luisa is a wonderful and attentive mother to her kittens who are all now weaned. She can be timid and aloof at first in new environments, but she comes around once she realizes that the home and people around her are safe. She is not a cuddly cat but is learning that a soft, gentle scratch now and then can be enjoyed. She does well with dogs and cats after proper introduction and loves to watch squirrels and birds perform antics outside. Finding sunny spots near windows to curl up and sleep in is her favorite past time.
