My first foster - Ms. Ebony. Also known as Ellie. Like me. 😆

She is such a kind, sweet soul. I took her out of boarding after she was returned due to no fault of her own. I have a cat and she's just looked at her- no lunging or barking. She's house and crate- trained, loves to go on walks and is very friendly and sociable. She's 1.5 years old and still has pup energy.

She loves naps...and is very cuddly on the couch.

She's likes long walks and is great on a leash - although she'll pull sometimes when she sees another 🐕.

She seems to ignore cats on walks.

She cries a little when I leave for the day. It doesn't seem to last long.

Like most, she loves treats. She sits well when asked although this is challenging on walks sometimes. She's a kisser!!
.
I took her for a long walk today. She loved Eden Park and did great!

She does jump so maybe a home with older children would be best. Did do good with a baby, though.

She still barks on occasion on walks when she sees other dogs and /or people sometimes. She's getting better.

She knows how to lay down now! A great listener.

I'm still uncertain how she is with other dogs. Uncertain if labeling her as no other dogs in the home is warranted yet. ...we do know she guarded her food with the dog in her previous home. That is said to possibly be the reason she was returned. She should be fed separately (food and treats) from other dogs in a home.

She is a social butterfly- but will bark at strangers first. Given her high energy, it's recommended she have yard so she can run and get her energy out.

She is crate-trained but definitely would benefit from being out of the crate as much as possible- as she is energetic as mentioned before! :)
