Minnie is a cute little lab mix, rescued from the produce section of a grocery store! Most people mistake her for a lab puppy at first sight. She weighs in at around 35- 40 lbs. Minnie loves early morning walks. She has been trained to sit, stay, lay down, and shake. She picked up all of these very quickly and is very intelligent, so who knows what else she might be capable of learning. Minnie loves having a plush or two around the house. Eventually she tears them up (I think just because she likes getting new ones), but that's okay since she has never damaged any personal items or the house! She loves to play fetch with her plush or a ball, but more than anything she loves to snuggle up on the couch or in the bed, laying on her back right next to you with her feet up in the air. Minnie takes a while to warm up to new dogs, but her best friend is an old female dog whom she co-habitated with for five months. New people can also make Minnie a little nervous, so it often takes a little break-in time to give her confidence that she doesn't have to feel threatened. Minnie doesn't have experience around children, so she will likely feel more secure in a child-free residence. She is comfortable in her crate but while she is home alone for during the workday, she enjoys looking out the window from "her" couch without fear of accidents. A fenced in yard or a lot of secure space to roam would be a dream for Minnie. She loves to frolic, chase squirrels, and smell the air.
