Meet Jicama! Jicama came to the Animal Care League from a hoarding situation with 38 other cats. This was a terrible living situation for Jicama and the other kitties, But we were on a mission to make sure his future was much better! Jicama had a special bond with his previous caretaker so being separating although was the best choice for his safety, it was hard for him to trust us right away. With Patience, some catnip (his fav), a laser pointer, and patience, Jicama has been learning day by day that new humans aren't so scary and he is safe and loved.
