Blue is a sweet, miniature hippo, who is an introvert homebody to the extreme. This velvety lady might not have had the nicest past, and she takes a long time to learn to trust new people. But once you are in her "family," she is delightfully loving, and sometimes even silly! Currently living in a foster home, she has shown that she has great manners - she is housebroken, crate trained but is well-behaved when left alone out of the crate too, and is good at self-entertaining with toys. It takes her a while to learn to warm up to new dogs, but she can co-exist with other more laid-back dogs. Blue would thrive in a quiet home without a lot of foot traffic where she can relax and be your affectionate, wiggly companion. Blue arrived at the kennel with a torn ACL for which she will be getting surgery, and then she'll begin recovering in her foster home. Blue is around 6 years old and weighs 50 lbs.
