Dee is in a foster home, and is currently not at the shelter. Please find info below on how to adopt her, thanks.

Imagine - a chilly winter evening, you and me, snuggled up on the couch, watching our fav Netflix show. Or, you've had a rough day at work, but you come home to my smiling face and wagging tail, and now you've got a huge smile on your face too.....our life together would be amazing! I'm a silly, curious, sometimes zoomy girl who's excited about life. At eight years young, I'm sprightly and acrobatic and always up for training and games - I'm food motivated and love to learn. Sleeping in bed with my foster parent is great, maybe you'll let me sleep with you too? Hanging out in my crate is cool, but my foster parent doesn't require me to stay in it when they're gone because I'm such a good girl I never ever get into things I shouldn't!

I thrive on structure and a regular schedule that includes training. So far I've learned ‘come', ‘sit', ‘let's go this way' and we're working on ‘touch'. I've got house training down. While I almost never bark when the doorbell rings, I will warn you when there's a squirrel intruder in the back yard! Dee is learning to relax more while on the leash - sometimes other dogs and squirrels especially can be distracting to her!
Here's what I need from you, my forever family to be - plenty of prior dog experience and dog behavior knowledge, a home without any other pets (I really prefer humans to other dogs) or young children, and a quiet neighborhood. Absolutely nothing would make me happier than a home for the holidays!

Dee's adoption fee is being sponsored by donation funds, so there will be no adoption fee! Applicable pet license fees still apply.
