My name is Stella and I am a young Basset mix, just about a year or two old. My owners gave me away as they just didn't have time for me. I am very active and have lots of puppy energy so will need a forever family that can keep up with me!!

I am house trained and crate trained. I love all the people and children I meet and will stop, drop and roll for a belly rub. I would be best in a home with older children as in my excitement to play, I could knock small children down. And if I am not playing fetch the ball, you can find me playing in the yard running, chasing and jumping with my foster siblings. There's a cat in my foster home too, but I'm not quite sure what to make of him just yet. I also like going on walks around the block to meet new friends. I am pretty quiet and generally only bark if I want your attention and think we should be playing. I'm a bit of a jumper and see baby gates and fences as a challenge!

Really, I am a sweetheart of an overgrown puppy. I just need a little training and will make someone a terrific companion!!! Please contact BROOD today!! My adoption fee is sponsored by my loving foster mom!

**Only BROOD approved adopters can meet a dog. The adoption application is on the BROOD website. We require a home visit and a veterinary reference. The age of many BROOD dogs is unknown, as very few come with official records. The estimate on the dog's age is usually the initial estimate given by the receiving shelter, which may be different from that given at the time of the initial checkup. Different veterinarians may also give different ages, and those different opinions are sometimes reflected on the record. ***BROOD's adoption fees are determined based on age of the dog. 09/10/2019
