Pocono is a delicate Indoor, DSH Calico/Tabby who came to shelter with 3 kittens all needing to get over a cold. She was a loving mommy cat and nurtured her kittens even though she is just beyond being a kitten herself. She is about 1 year old; an active girl with perfect litter box manners.
Pocono does not enjoy being picked up right now and she will let you know by being squirmy. Over time, with loving care and trust, this may change. She is not the cat for you if you want a lap warmer but she is a "lie next to your leg warmer" companion cat. The black color around her eyes (natural eyeliner) and inside corners make her face look exotic. She is OK with other cats, dogs (introduced slowly) and respectful older children.

She will greet you when you come home and want to hear all about your adventures. She will weave herself between your legs showing you she missed you while you were gone and how happy she is you are back home to her....and will follow you around.

She may have a skin sensitivity to some flea preventatives so Revolution is best to use with her as it does not cause a reaction....and is also a heartworm preventive (available only at your Vet).
