"Can we cuddle? What about a nice walk followed by some Netflix? I like car rides too! Do you have a squeaky or tug toy? You do? Well what are standing here for?" Peggy came to us in late September and has since stolen all our hearts. She has many nicknames with the staff like Peg and Pegasaurus. If you have another dog that is her size or larger feel free to bring them in for a meet n' greet. Due to her rough and rowdy play style Peggy cannot go home with cats. She adores affection and would be fine with children older than 8! She's also known to cuddle her trainer anytime she is around so if you're looking for a cuddle bug she's the one! Peggy will be patiently awaiting you and the chance to give you some lovings!

Peggy is a Canine Good Citizen-Ready (CGC) trainee! This means that she knows most basic obedience and walks on a leash well. Depending on where she is at in her training, she may have many more skills! The end result is for her to be able to successfully complete the ten parts of the AKC Canine Good Citizen test all involving commands like sit, down, come and free. She won't be AKC CGC certified until adoption if adopters choose to continue with training. For more information Google AKC CGC.
