Ok, I know that I'm no Vashti Cunningham. But I was cheering for her in the 2016 Rio Olympics. She and I have something in common-we both are high jumpers! I don't go as high as she does, but I can clear 6 feet! She was only 18 then, and I am 2 years old now, so basically, I am ahead of her in youth vs. skill. She is also beautiful, as am I. wink-wink!

I was a stray brought to the HSHC in April '17 and was adopted in May. Sadly, I was surrendered in September because I could not seem to get along with other dogs or cats. I am sorry about that, but I was never taught to be sociable with animals when I was just a pup. I attended a Basic Skills class at Paws & Play Training Center for 6 weeks, to improve my general education. But I still need to be the only pet in the house. My previous owner said that I got along very well with her 5-year-old daughter.

I am already spayed, housebroken, and I know the commands: sit, down, shake, stay, off, and go potty.
The folks at HSHC say that I do best on a Martingale-type collar, as I can escape from a buckle collar. I sure hope to be someone's best friend by Christmas time. I would look good in your family photos. Please come to the shelter to meet me with your whole family, that way I can go home with you! 10/23/18
