This adorable girl is searching for a second chance at a loving family! Cora Beth was surrendered to a very rural county shelter from a hunt club. Fortunately, BARK heard her story and knew we had to rescue her and attempt to give her a better life. At less than 35 pounds and 3 years old, this sweet girl is definitely under weight and we are working to fatten her up. She will likely weight around 40 pounds once she's filled out - a perfect medium size. Cora Beth is a little on the shy side, but she warms up extremely quickly when given even the slightest bit of attention and affection. She seems to get along very well with other dogs and would likely make an excellent companion for another friendly, playful pup. Cora Beth will likely need an adopter who is willing to work with her on her house skills but she's definitely worth the time and effort. Please help give this discarded hunting dog the life she truly deserves! Cora Beth is currently enrolled in our BARK Behind Bars prison training program, where she'll learn social skills and basic obedience. If you would like to meet her after she graduates, please submit an adoption application online at
