Bean is a cat in need of a very specific kind of home. She came to Furry Friends and tested positive for Feline Leukemia. Bean also isn't a big fan of humans. Because of her FELV diagnosis she isn't a typical barn home candidate - FELV is contagious to other cats and living outdoors is hard on her system.

Bean is hoping to find a job as a working cat at an indoor location, somewhere where she has access to food and shelter from the elements but can still show off her skills as a rodent ranger and help keep the mice at bay. She has a buddy here at the shelter who is also FELV positive who would be happy to join her rodent ranger team if you're looking for a pair.

If you have an indoor set up such as a warehouse, morton building, greenhouse, or other facility that could benefit from a mouser then perhaps you and Bean would make a perfect team?

Furry Friends also provides routine medical care for our FELV positive cats through our clinic for their whole life. Bean has also been sponsored, so there is no fee to adopt her!
