Who came first, Agatha or Einstein? We don't know, but theirs is a lovestory for the ages. We don't know if their siblings, father and daughter or mother and son, or maybe just companions who found everything they could ever need in each other. What we do know is Agatha and Einstein are so woven into one another's lives, it's hard to see where one ends and the other begins. They were found together as strays and ended up in a local county animal shelter, where they shared a kennel together. When we rescued them, we put them in side-by-side kennels, which we quickly learned would not do at all, not at all! They cried and protested the instant we separated them, so we quickly hustled and got them back into the same kennel together. When we checked in on them last night, they were spooned together in the same bed, companions for life. Agatha and Einstein are about 9 (we think) and spend much of their days napping together and sunning themselves outside. They love to go walking together on our trail and can easily be walked side by side with zero pulling. They're house-trained and have lived for a couple of years in a loving foster home. We need Agatha and Einstein to stay together, since they are each other's world. Both of their adoption fees have been sponsored by a secret admirer. They are "young" and happy seniors who've lived with other dogs. We really yearn for them to finally find a permanent, loving home where they can spend the rest of their lives together. These two are magical, and it breaks our hearts to see them spending their days and nights in a shelter.
