If you know that the best bonds are those that build slowly with time and love, come meet Zoe! She's not the kind of girl that falls for just anybody, but once you win her love and trust, you'll have a loyal and affectionate friend. Despite her initial shyness, Zoe then loves social contact. You'll never have to work or read without a lap warmer again as Zoe will hop into your lap when you sit down at a computer or cozy chair. At night she loves to snuggle next to you and will even sleep on your back!

She loves to bask in warm sunshine and play with her catnip toys. She is also interested in making friends with other kitties and knows how to give them their space.

Zoe is a good eater who really appreciates her meals. She always finishes her food and manages to keep her figure svelte. She takes good care of her pretty tortoiseshell coat and has perfect litter box habits.

Zoe enjoys using her carpeted scratching posts. Over the course of a few trial and errors, we've found the perfect kind of scratcher used in conjunction with a simple deterrent spray keeps her focused on using the appropriate scratcher.

Zoe is in very good health. She does have an issue with her hind legs that limits her jumping. She walks and trots normally around the house but can only jump small heights. Her ideal home will need pet steps or other aids to help her get up to the best snuggle spots, like the bed or higher chairs.

We have begun training Zoe to be more comfortable with her cat carrier by using positive reinforcement. She even eats her meals inside the carrier now! She's treat motivated so with continued training she'll blossom further into a confident carrier kitty.
