In a world full of negativity, wouldn't it be nice to be greeted with a smile? I would be happy to oblige! My name is Silas, but they call me Smilin' Silas because I am always smiling! I have a zest for life and am always willing to try something new!

I am an energetic husky mix about 3 yrs old. I LOVE playing with balls! I know how to play fetch, but sometimes I would rather have you chase me. I know my basic commands. "Stay" can sometimes be hard because there are so many interesting things to see! I am crate trained, but my foster mom made me my very own "man cave" so that's where I stay while she is away. When she is home I have free reign of the house. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to snuggle, but am also good at keeping myself entertained. I really like car rides and walks. There are really so many interesting things to do.

I enjoy people of all sizes, although I may be a bit too energetic for a small child. My foster mom says I'm a little too interested in cats, so I would be best in a home without one. I would prefer a yard with a fence because the husky in me loves to run! I have some dog friends, but I do get nervous when meeting a new dog. We are working on my confidence in these situations, but it will take a lot of work for me to enjoy a dog park or daycare.

If I sound like your kind of dog I would love to meet you!!
