Rosie is a beautiful, 2 year old, brindle pit mix. Rosie is a little shy and she likes to be the girl to make the first move. Once she warms up she gives a lot of love, kisses and hugs! She is completely potty trained and crate trained. Her foster mom has left her out of her crate while gone and she has been the perfect angel. She is not destructive, although like some girls, she has a shoe obsession. She hasn't destroyed any, she just likes to take them with her. Sometimes they end up in her crate. She doesn't fetch much but she loves stuffed animals and bones. She gives kisses to her 11 year old English Mastiff foster brother whether he wants them or not and she wrestles endlessly with the other foster pit mix in the home. She walks beautifully on leash and loves to go for walks! She was raised with small children and would do well in a home with children or other dogs. Please consider opening you home and your heart to this sensitive but sweet girl. She is so deserving!

ADOPTION FEE: $300 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possible. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed. The best way to contact us is by email at It is very difficult for the limited numbers of volunteers to return all calls. Thank you.
