Sylvie is a sweetheart of a girl who first came to us in July 2015 due to allergies in the family. She was returned to us in March 2018. Sylvie agrees with us that she is way overdue when it comes to finding her forever home. She currently is the second longest active resident cat at the shelter at 376.3 days to date. Sylvie is an 8-year-old brown and white tabby, and she would like to make a few things clear to potential adopters.
1. I am a charming gal. My hobbies include being friendly, playful, talkative, a lap cat, affectionate, and independent. I like to play hide and seek, to play in or around water, and I like to chase bugs. I have no idea why I have been here so long!

2. When I lived in the office of HSHC I was very sociable with the people and dogs there! Being in a cage is not my thing. My paws hurt, so it was recommended that I have a low-entry, high-sided, uncovered litterbox with fine-grained litter. It's easier on the tootsies!

3. I don't want to be homeless. I love having a family.

In conclusion, I am an adorable cat who would love to be in a home with adults and considerate kids. 3/31/19
