Lucy is very affectionate and regal, the queen of the household. She does need to be the only pet. She is in remission from diabetes and can likely be expected to stay that way as long as she is on the proper diet of high protein, low carb canned food. She does not currently need insulin. This dietary restriction is a must. Her blood sugar should be checked about twice a month to be certain she is staying in a safe range.
